REMINISCENTS

If you could add one thing to your life that could improve it on any scale, what would it be?  The project was to design a package for the answer.

This hypothetical product is a candle that brings back lost memories. Sensory triggers, like a scent, can resurrect memories we forgot we had, rushing them to the surface. Every time the candle is lit, it would ignite a unique, personal memory with its aroma. Rekindling with lost memories is an intimate experience, and so the candle is shaped with hand grooves to encourage users to hold it. The engraved design on the cap is inspired by neurons firing when triggered with a memory.
